2 girls accused of dumping paint inside Norfolk church building

| October 9, 2011

NORFOLK — Investigators say two girls caused more than $5,000 in damage to a Norfolk church.

Tony Suarez, the senior pastor of the Pentecostals of Norfolk, says the church recently acquired a building on Willow Wood Drive and that it'd been vandalized three times in the last 10 days.

"Paint dumped all over the floors, walls, ceiling, hand prints all over the place," he described.

Amazingly, he says, the girls returned to the building Tuesday while church members were there and they were caught.
