4 teens wanted after church caretaker beaten

CALGARY- Police are investigating a disturbing assault that saw a church caretaker pepper sprayed and beaten by teenagers.

A group of four, three young men and a young woman, walked from the Elbow River pathway to the church parking lot in the 800 block of MacDonald Avenue S.E. Saturday night around 11:30 p.m.

A caretaker in his 50s was having a cigarette in the church’s parking lot when one the males in the group apprached him, asking for a light.

Police say he sprayed the man with pepper spray.
