INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An 81-year-old woman thwarted an attempted carjacking by two teen boys, police said, and it wasn’t the first such crime police had responded to that night.

Two teen boys are accused taking another woman’s car at gunpoint earlier Thursday as she walked outside First Meridian Heights Presbyterian Church, 4701 N. Central Ave.

According to police, the teens pulled a gun on a 30-year-old woman, then snatched her keys and drove away in her Mercedes.
