BUCYRUS — An Indiana man was sentenced to three years probation in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday after admitting to stealing money from the Peniel Holiness Camp near Sycamore.

Jeffrey Blan-kenship, 47, of Fort Wayne, Ind., admitted stealing $9,786.85 from the camp between Jan. 8, 2007, and July 13, 2009, while serving as an unpaid member of the board that governs the camp through debit and credit cards.

Blankenship pleaded guilty to one count of theft, a fourth-degree felony.

"I am very deeply and profoundly sorry for my actions," Blankenship said. "It was a domino effect. I violated civil and moral code."
