Church employee charged with burglary

| March 4, 2012

A 22-year-old was recently arrested for stealing from his employer — a church.

Jonathan Coffey was charged with burglary in the incident where more than $3,500 in equipment was stolen from One Life Community Church on Millard Farmer Road.

The church pastor, Matthew Pfatzgraph, opened the church Sunday and went into the sanctuary. Once there he noticed a couple of ladders and, upon further investigation, that several items were missing, said Maj. Jimmy Yarbrough with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office.–2104763
