Church stabbing victims return home

| May 14, 2013

The two most severely injured victims in Sunday's church stabbings are now back home.

Both Adam Alvarez and Gerald Madrid got out of the hospital Thursday.  Alvarez has several large stab wounds on his left arm and hand.  Madrid was stabbed four times in the back.

They both said the healing has begun, but they are still replaying that horrific day over and over in their minds.

"I can't shut my eyes without seeing it. He's in every dream, every nightmare, every waking. I see those evil eyes and I hear that voice saying 'die, die, die," Alvarez said.

"Even in a nightmare, I've never even dreamt about anything as violent as that was," Madrid said.
