Former Syracuse school board president admits guilt in church theft

| February 9, 2011

Syracuse, NY – Former Syracuse City School Board president Kim Rohadfox-Ceaser today pleaded guilty to stealing from the church where she worked.

Rohadfox-Ceaser pleaded guilty before County Judge William Walsh to a single felony count of fourth-degree grand larceny, admitting she stole more than $1,000 from Tucker Missionary Baptist Church from April 2004 through January 2009.

Assistant District Attorney Matthew Dotzler said Rohadfox-Ceaser was employed at the church as the secretary/office manager at the time. She used the church's accounts to make personal purchases from Office Max and Staples, the prosecutor said.
