Gun pulled during church service

| March 3, 2011

A Madison man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly entered a church on Hanover Street, stuck a gun to a man’s head and pulled the trigger.

Fortunately, there was no bullet in the weapon’s chamber.

Danny Glosson Jr., 28, Madison, faces charges of aggravated assault, cruelty to children and reckless conduct after he turned himself in to authorities at the Morgan County Detention Center.

According to City of Madison Police reports, Glosson alleged the attack was triggered by a parishioner’s failure to repay a $200 debt.

Reports state that Glosson told Madison Police Officer Stacey Eaton that “he just lost it when he saw [the victim] with new jewelry and new clothes while [the victim] refuses to pay him.”
