KINGSLAND, Texas (KXAN) – Authorities on Friday were investigating the burgalry and vandalism of the First Baptist Church in Kingsland,‎ in which a glass door was shattered, several locked doors were kicked in, laptop and sound equipment were stolen and the church safe was taken.

The safe was found later in the day on a side street in Burnet. The contents inside were missing.

"We didn't have a lot of stuff in there, but we did have some money we were going to take back to Uganda to help some orphans with. Our church has a ministry over there. We had about 800 dollars saved up," said Pastor Bubba Stahl.
