EASTVALE — A Beaver Falls man has been charged after police said he sexually assaulted a woman in a church basement.
A Beaver Falls police report said Brian Zalucky, 24, of 309 Eighth St. was charged April 1 with sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and unlawful restraint.
According to the police report, a woman went to the Beaver Falls police station Nov. 5 and reported she had been assaulted several days earlier. The woman told police she became friends with Zalucky while attending a church in Eastvale. The police report did not name the church.
The woman told police that after church services ended on Oct. 28, Zalucky asked to talk to her in the church basement, and she didn’t think there was anything wrong with his request.
The pair were talking in the basement when Zalucky’s sister, who police did not name, arrived and asked what was going on. Zalucky told his sister he and the victim were just talking, and his sister left.
That’s when Zalucky began kissing the woman and grabbing and touching her.
The woman told police she told Zalucky she did not want to have that type of contact with him.
