Minister enters plea in theft of $50,000

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — A Presbyterian minister charged with stealing $50,000 from his former church in Simpson County faces a possible prison sentence.

Sixty-five year old Richard Bridges entered an Alford plea on Friday under which he maintains his innocence but acknowledges evidence against him would likely result in a conviction.
