North Hollywood Man Convicted in Shooting at Granada Hills Church Carnival

Fernando Diaz Jr. is convicted of two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a firearm and one count of being a felon with a firearm.

A jury returned its final guilty verdict today in the trial of a North Hollywood man charged with shooting his ex-girlfriend and two other people at a church carnival in Granada Hills.

Jurors returned their verdicts over a three-day period in the case of Fernando Diaz Jr., who was convicted of two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a firearm and one count of being a felon with a firearm, according to Deputy District Attorney Ruby Arias.
