| January 9, 2012

PARAMUS, NJ (WCBS 880) – Several synagogues in North Jersey are reviewing their security measures following a recent series of bias incidents.

At Congregation K’Hal Adath Jeshurun in Paramus on Friday, congregants were unsettled, as they could still smell the fuel and see the scorch marks on the outside wall that remind them of the attack on their house of worship.

Authorities tell The Record an accelerant was used to start a fire at the rear of the structure on Tuesday. Nobody was injured and there was minor damage to the structure.
