Pastor finds reported burglar in Beaumont church

A Beaumont man is in jail after being accused of breaking into a church on Highway 69 Tuesday evening.

Dustin Wayne Harrington, 25, is in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility for burglary of a building and has a $20,000 bond, according to a jail employee.

The pastor of a church in the 3600 block of Highway 69 called the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office at 5:20 p.m. and said that a burglary had just occurred, according to a news release from Deputy Rod Carroll.
