ST. PETERSBURG – A 20-year-old Bay area woman was seriously injured Sunday afternoon when a gun accidentally discharged on the grounds of a church in St. Petersburg.

Hannah Kelly was transported to Bayfront Medical Center with life threatening injuries. She is listed in critical condition.

The shooting occurred at approximately 12:20 pm at the Grace Connection Church at 4017 56th Ave. North. The injured woman is the daughter of the church's Pastor, Tim Kelly.

According to a Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office report approximately 40 people were gathered at the facility at the time of the shooting. Investigators say Moises Zambrana, who works the sound system at the church, was showing his gun to two young men when the weapon went off.
