Pastors rally around Rev. Roderick Coffee following vandalism

| March 29, 2011

Area church leaders and community members gathered Wednesday at Union Community Church in Concord Township, which recently came under attack of hate speech in the form of racist graffiti.

The Rev. Roderick Coffee called the news conference and prayer session in hopes of turning a negative situation into a positive one.

“The only way that we’ll get where God wants us in this community is if we have some genuine brotherhood,” Coffee said. “And I believe that God allows things to happen to bring that to pass.”
