Pastor’s truck set on fire at east Fort Myers church

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report someone set fire to a truck belonging to the pastor of the Grace Methodist Church in east Fort Myers.

Deputies and firefighters arrived at the church just after midnight to find the truck parked in back of the church and fully engulfed in flames, according to a sheriff’s office report.

Pastor James Buchanan arrived at the church after the fire was extinguished and told investigators he owned the truck and he last saw it Wednesday afternoon, before he left the church.|topnews|text|Home
