Preliminary exam of teens charged with killing church security guard to resume Thursday

The preliminary examination for two teens charged in the murder of an 84-year-old church security guard was adjourned today and rescheduled to Thursday.

Alandre Boone, 18, and Anthony Williams, 15, faces charges of second-degree murder and felony firearm in connection with the shooting death of Joseph Lewis Jr., who was killed May 9 while guarding Victory Way Assembly Church of God in Christ parking lot on Tireman.
