Sherman Temple Set To Resume Worship Services After Vandalism

| November 16, 2009

SHERMAN, TX – A Sherman temple is set to resume worship services after their synagogue was vandalized last month.

Services came to a halt last month when members of the Temple Beth Emeth discovered their place of worship had been broken-into, ransacked and the Torah stolen.

Two men were charged with the crime a few days later, but the Torah has yet to be recovered. Temple leaders hope to resume services on December 11 – the first night of Hanukkah.
