Six firebombs thrown at Moscow synagogue in suspected anti-Semitic act

| July 19, 2011

Six firebombs were thrown at a Habad synagogue in Moscow on Tuesday in what is suspected to be an anti-Semitic act, according to an Israel Radio report.

No one was hurt in the attack, but the walls of the building were lightly damaged.

Moscow police believe the arson may have been in response to a court ruling on Monday in which a Russian court sentenced multiple members of a neo-Nazi gang to varying prison terms.
