Thieves hit Round Mountain church twice

ROUND MOUNTAIN, Texas (KXAN) – Authorities in Round Mountain are searching for thieves who broke into an area church twice this month and stole more than $5,000 in yard tools and office supplies.

Yard tools were stolen from St. Luke's Episcopal Church off Spur 962 on November 4. Vicar Tommy Bye told KXAN a power weeder along with other hand-held tools were stolen.

The total estimated value of the yard equipment is $900.
