LODI – A fistfight at a quinceañera at Lodi's St. Anne's Catholic Church late Saturday escalated into an altercation that led to two people being shot and one stabbed, police said.

Lodi police are investigating what Cpl. Sierra Brucia called gang-related violence at 10 p.m. at the church, in the 200 block of South Church Street.

Police first received reports of a fistfight at the party, but by 1 a.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old man had been shot in the back, an 18-year-old woman had been shot in the leg, and a 26-year-old man had been stabbed several times. All were treated at Lodi Memorial Hospital, Brucia said.

The shooting victims were treated and released from the hospital. The stabbing victim was still in the hospital Monday afternoon, Brucia said.
