Twelve days after windows were smashed out of two St. Albans churches, seven cars and the Franklin Superior Court House, the city Police Department arrested and charged Shannon Lussier, 33, on Friday with felony and misdemeanor unlawful mischief, according to the police department.

Lussier, a St. Albans resident, used a baseball bat to smash the windows June 19 and June 20, police said.

Damage included about $6,500 at St. Paul's Espiscopal Church, and 12 windows smashed at the Congregational Church on Church Street, the police report said, in addition to automobile windows pounded into shards on Bishop Street, Upper Newton Street and Upper Welden Street.

Lussier is being held on $7,000 bail at the Northwest Correctional Facility. She will be arraigned Tuesday.
