GEORGETOWN | A Georgetown woman and her 4-year-old grandson were abducted by two men outside the First Baptist Church at about 7:30 p.m., said Capt. Nelson Brown of the Georgetown Police Department.

After they left Wednesday night services, the woman put her grandson in the car and was walking to her side of the car when she was approached by two men, at least one of whom was brandishing a handgun, Brown said.

The men ordered the woman into the car and forced her to drive them to the vicinity of Wachovia Bank on Front Street. They asked her for her purse, which she gave to them, Brown said.
